Miguel Medina
Chief Executive Officer and Board Member
Mr. Medina has over 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge of various wireless innovations around the world and has executed successful IP growth strategies for large technology clients based in the US. He brings an impressive background with a successful track record who co-founded 3gLOGIX Inc., a technology incubator that imported patented wireless software technologies from Scandinavia to the U.S. While at 3gLOGIX, he held an executive position as EVP of Business Development/Licensing where he established multi-million dollar licensing programs that accelerated distribution of patented technologies in key market segments. He also had a flourishing career at Motorola as an Enterprise Data Solutions Executive where he was responsible in leading a business unit that provided complex and diverse wireless data solutions in key verticals. Mr. Medina received national recognition for the successful deployment and commercial launch of a new Motorola mobile satellite data platform in the Oil and Gas Industry. In 1991, Mr. Medina started his technology career in the wireless industry with Pacific Bell Mobile Services where he was instrumental in the successful launch of the first GSM cellular network in the U.S. He was responsible for driving millions in sales revenue from Fortune 500 enterprise customers. Mr. Medina attended Cal State University Dominguez Hills where he studied international business.
Steven R. Carter
Chief Operating Officer and Board Member
Mr. Carter brings over thirty years experience of Sales and Marketing and Product Development, in electronic product and computer software technologies. Mr. Carter was co-founder and EVP of 3gLOGIX, Inc., a technology incubator that imported patented wireless software technologies from Scandinavia to the U.S His diversified background includes working with both large corporations (e.g.. - Abbott Laboratories) and dynamic startup businesses in National Directorship and Regional Executive positions while building sales and marketing programs. He has established National Account programs from "the ground up" and created numerous corporate alliances in past positions.Mr. Carter earned a technical degree in Biomedical Electronics, and attended extension programs in Business Management and Marketing at University of California-Irvine.
Leif Bohman
Founder and Board Member
Mr. Bohman has extensive experience in the development, marketing and management of software companies, both in the US and internationally. Mr. Bohman was co-founder and CEO of 3gLOGIX, Inc., a technology incubator that imported patented wireless software technologies from Scandinavia to the U.S. Mr. Bohman was also the founder and president of LAN International, Inc. a software firm that developed advertising solutions for the cable / radio industry. The company was sold for substantial profit to its largest customer before Mr. Bohman began to work on the establishment of three other Scandinavian companies in the US: April System Design, Spize IT and CoreTrek. Earlier, Mr. Bohman held different management positions in Nokia, Datapoint, Olivetti and Motorola. Mr. Bohman has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Stockholm.
Richard Liden
Board Member
Mr. Liden brings a long history of international wireless experience to our Board. From 2003 to 2011, Mr. Liden served as a Director of Telecom City, an institution based in South Sweden built on the premise of developing new wireless technologies. As a director, Mr. Liden was instrumental in expanding Telecom City around the world. Today Telecom City is recognized as one of the development “hotspots” for new wireless technologies. Richard most recently worked as Director of Cloud Services for Fujitsu providing services throughout Sweden. Mr. Liden also serves as a Board Member of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce where he has successfully introduced new technologies developed in Sweden that are currently being used in the U.S. Mr. Liden sits on the Board of other wireless companies in Sweden providing valuable input about market conditions and opportunities.
Jon Brannon
Board Member
Mr. Brannon is the Vice President of HCA Physician Services Group and Physician Recruitment for the Far West, Mountain and Continental Divisions. This encompasses 29 hospitals, several company owned clinics and outpatient surgery centers on the west coast. 13 years ago, Jon began a career in healthcare and physician recruiting, while attending Pepperdine University. After completing his Thesis on Healthcare economics and physician recruitment in the US, Jon successfully founded his own recruitment company, which still exists today. 11 years ago Jon came on board with HCA to help develop and drive the “in house” physician recruitment strategy in the west. Jon holds a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Arizona, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
